TBIZZ is an on-board unit for commercial vehicles over 3.5 tonnes, designed for vehicles in goods transport in categories N2 and N3.
With TBIZZ, you benefit from a single toll payment solution that works in 19 Nordic and European countries, making it easier to register and pay tolls for heavy vehicles across these countries.
TBIZZ uses the Telepass SAT, a GNSS and DSRC on-board unit that incorporates advanced satellite technology. Developed and patented by the Telepass Group, the device combines telematics and digital services to provide enhanced security and added value for our customers and drivers.
TBIZZ must be installed in accordance with the installation guide. Installing the device in any other way may damage the TBIZZ unit or its cable. The TBIZZ cannot be connected to a vehicle's cigarette lighter socket (12V socket). Using the supplied cable for any purpose other than connecting the TBIZZ may damage the cable.
The TBIZZ unit and the supplied cable are provided on loan. If you return the product, it is important to return both the TBIZZ unit and the cable to avoid being charged a fee.
With the TBIZZ, you decide which services you want to activate for each individual vehicle.
You get direct access to toll payments and discounts on roads, bridges, and ferries covered by the services activated for your TBIZZ – without the need for manual stops or additional solutions.

We recommend that you always check that you have been charged correctly for your journeys.
If you wish to submit a complaint regarding journeys charged to your TBIZZ agreement, the complaint must be submitted no later than 15 days after receipt of the invoice.
The following also includes information about troubleshooting the TBIZZ.
In most countries, it takes between 24 and 48 hours before the service is activated. You will receive more information about the specific service when you select it for your vehicle.
When your TBIZZ displays a constant green light, it means that the device is functioning and that the service has been activated.
Please note: You must still wait 24 to 48 hours before the device will work in the activated country. The service requires this time to update its systems.
We recommend that the driver checks the Telepass Truck app to confirm that the service is active or checks this directly on the TBIZZ by pressing the button on the device.
If the vehicle enters a country before the service has been updated, the driver may risk receiving charges or fines. If the driver needs to enter the country before the service has been updated, we recommend checking the relevant country's requirements for possible manual registration and/or payment outside the SkyttelPASS TBIZZ agreement.
It is very important that the driver checks that the TBIZZ displays a constant green light both before entering the relevant country and while driving in that country.
We also recommend that the driver checks the Telepass Truck app to confirm that the service is active or checks this directly on the TBIZZ by pressing the button on the device.
If the TBIZZ displays a red light when the driver enters or is travelling in the relevant country, we recommend checking the following:
If the TBIZZ is installed correctly according to the installation manual, and all other vehicle functions are operating normally, the TBIZZ can be restarted by following these steps:
The operation is complete when the LED light turns on again and displays a constant green light (or another colour according to the device configuration).
If the user has difficulty completing the procedure, they can contact the Telepass customer support centre at +39 06 89 41 63 33.
Telepass customer support is available in the following languages:
• Italian, English, and German: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
• Polish, French, and Spanish: from 06:00 to 22:00, 7 days a week
If the issue persists, the driver can, at the next available opportunity, replace the TBIZZ with another unit to check whether it works correctly. If the replacement unit also fails to display a stable green light, the issue may be related to the installation or faulty cables.
If the device displays a red light when entering or travelling in a country, we recommend checking the relevant country's requirements for possible manual registration and/or payment outside the TBIZZ agreement to avoid charges or fines.
Most of the required vehicle information can be found in the vehicle registration certificate and, where applicable, in vehicle documentation such as the CIF and/or COC certificate.
By hovering over the information icon next to each field, you can see exactly which information is required. It is very important that all information is entered correctly, as incorrect information may result in reduced discounts or, in the worst case, additional charges or fines, depending on the country.
By entering the correct information, you ensure that you receive the correct toll rates and discounts for your vehicle. If this information is not provided, the highest toll rates and the lowest discounts will apply.
For certain services, it is very important to enter the total number of axles to avoid additional charges or fines. This includes all axles on the entire vehicle combination (tractor unit and trailer).
If the number of axles registered with us is lower than the actual number, you can temporarily increase the number of axles in the Telepass Truck app and later reduce it again to match the number registered in your agreement with us.
This applies to the following services:
Toll charges are calculated differently from country to country and are based on a variety of factors.
Services where VAT applies to toll charges
Services where VAT does not apply to toll charges
Yes, both the Great Belt Bridge and the Øresund Bridge accept the TBIZZ as a payment method when Scandinavia is activated. The crossing will then be invoiced on your next invoice from us.
In addition, some ferry services in Denmark and Sweden also accept the TBIZZ, including Øresundslinjen between Helsingør–Helsingborg and Molslinjen between Odden–Aarhus and Odden–Ebeltoft
It is possible to add a discount agreement with the Øresund Bridge if the Scandinavia service is activated on your TBIZZ in your SkyttelPASS TBIZZ agreement.
Once you have created an agreement with the Øresund Bridge and registered a vehicle and its PAN number for scandinvaia on that agreement, SkyttelPASS can, on your behalf, register any additional vehicles on the Øresund Bridge agreement as long as the service Scandinavia is activated on the TBIZZ.
An annual fee applies.
It is possible to add a Green Discount with the Great Belt Bridge, which provides reduced rates for heavy goods vehicles when the Scandinavia service is activated on the SkyttelPASS TBIZZ agreement. This is managed directly through SkyttelPASS.
To activate the Great Belt Bridge service, SkyttelPASS must receive documentation of the vehicle registration certificate for the relevant vehicles.
A fee of DKK 200 per registration applies for vehicles registered in all countries except Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Lithuania, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.
With Scandinavia activated for the individual vehicle/TBIZZ in the SkyttelPASS TBIZZ agreement, the vehicle automatically receives a 10% discount on almost all ferries in Norway.
By creating the additional agreement AutoPASS for ferry prepayment agreement, business customers receive a 40% discount on all ferries included in the AutoPASS for ferry scheme.
By creating the additional agreement Torghatten Sør Moss–Horten advance payment agreement, business customers receive a 30% discount on ferry journeys with this operator.
This is done by creating an additional agreement directly with the relevant provider and providing your TBIZZ number for the Scandinavia service.
When your TBIZZ is linked to an additional agreement, the crossings will still be charged through your TBIZZ and will appear on your next TBIZZ invoice.
You create an additional agreement directly with the relevant provider and provide your TBIZZ number for the Scandinavia service.
For the Great Belt Bridge, please contact us directly at tbizz@skyttelpass.com, and we will create the agreement on your behalf.
It is not a requirement, but it may be beneficial. By creating additional agreements, your company can achieve significantly higher discounts, especially with frequent use.
You must have Scandinavia activated on your TBIZZ to enter into additional agreements with, for example, the Great Belt Bridge, the Øresund Bridge, the AutoPASS for ferry prepayment agreement and the Torghatten Sør Moss–Horten prepayment agreement.
Telepass Truck is an app developed by Telepass for their Telepass SAT (K1) – the same OBU that SkyttelPASS offers to its customers under the name TBIZZ.
We recommend that the driver downloads this app. Through the app, the driver can manage and monitor some of the services activated on the TBIZZ in the relevant vehicle.
The app also displays information about the Norwegian PAN number for the individual TBIZZ if the Scandinavia service is activated.
In addition, the app shows which services are active/inactive and allows the driver to increase the number of axles when required.
Note: The Telepass Truck app must be connected to the TBIZZ via Bluetooth.
If you have any other questions, you are welcome to send an email to tbizz@skyttelpass.dk.
